Spencer Chandra Herbert was one of several politicians spotted at the rally held today (April 10) to protest budget cuts made by Premier Gordon Campbell’s B.C. Liberal government.
After the rally at the Vancouver Art Gallery wrapped up, the NDP MLA for Vancouver-West End told the Straight why the arts are important to B.C. and why he thinks the funding cuts are taking the province in the wrong direction.
